Aditi Dhar is an accessory designer and founder of accessory label VITASTA in New Delhi, India. A graduate of the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad), she started her design career with Mexx International (Holland) and went on to work with some of the top brands in India including Hi design and Wills lifestyle. Having worked in the industry for many years, she found a gap in the Indian market for a modern accessory label that combined high quality with functionality, at an attainable price. With this idea in mind, she launched her eponymous label in 2011.

The label is based on a simple vision of “Everyday Luxury”: A philosophy defined by elements of luxury, utility and simplicity.

In October 2015, VITASTA was selected to be a part of FDCI x ELLE First Cut designer’s runway show at Amazon Fashion Week SS16. 

In November 2016, VITASTA won The Vogue India Fashion Fund 2016- Accessories

In June 2017, Aditi was a finalist in the handmade category at the Independent Handbag Designer Awards held in New York City.

As an accessory designer, she has collaborated with a number of Indian fashion designers such as Nishka Lulla, DRVV, and Suket Dhir for their runway shows.  As a woman entrepreneur, Aditi aims to create a space for a home  grown accessory label in the fashion and luxury industry.
